About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Modeler to join our team at Two Six Technologies. As a key member of our data modeling team, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Optimize Data Models: Work with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop data models that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with Database Engineers: Guide the development and evolution of data models in collaboration with database engineers.
  • Support Data Modeling Efforts: Support the development of exemplar use cases, guidelines, standards, and documentation for design, use, and maintenance of data models.
  • Lead Data Modeling Efforts: Work directly with customers and lead all data modeling efforts.
Requirements
  • 7+ Years of Experience with SQL: Proven experience working with SQL and developing data models.
  • 5+ Years as a Backend Engineer or System Architect: Experience in backend engineering or system architecture, with a focus on data modeling.
  • 2+ Years of Data Modeling Experience: Proven experience in data modeling, with a focus on developing and optimizing data models.
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Equivalent Field: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent field.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI Eligibility and Polygraph: Possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Government Command and Control Systems and Military Doctrine: Experience working with government command and control systems and military doctrine.
  • Familiarity with Existing Data Model Standards: Familiarity with existing data model standards, particularly cyber-related models such as Structured Threat Information Expression (STIX), STIX Cyber-observable Objects (SCO), etc.
  • Knowledge of Data Serialization Frameworks: Knowledge of data serialization frameworks.
  • Broad Experience Across Various Database Types: Broad experience across various database types, including SQL, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases.
