Human Resources Specialist for a Japanese Food Manufacturer

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct investigations on employee relations issues, including sexual harassment, grievances, safety, and other matters.
• Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on HR-related issues, including hiring, firing, and disciplining.
• Collaborate with HR HQ to process worker's compensation claims, report incidents, and coordinate investigations.
• Maintain accurate records of employee training, certifications, and probationary periods.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Provide technical support for company cellphones and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or Japanese-related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human resources or business administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
