Job SummaryEntegee is seeking a highly skilled Tooling Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the company's manufacturing department, this individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching new stamping projects, as well as troubleshooting and repairing stamping/tooling issues on the floor.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new stamping projects, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair stamping/tooling issues on the floor, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Review and improve efficiency of current tooling processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Prepare specifications, RFQs, design approvals, and run-offs for new dies, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting of metal stamping dies and related production equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Design modifications and upgrades on existing dies and details, improving product quality and reducing production costs.
  • Lead efforts on stamping department improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost reductions, driving business growth and success.
  • Work with machine builders on new/rebuilt equipment design recommendations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Supervise skilled tradesmen in the Tool Room to ensure efficient production, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Organize Tool Room stock for timely repairs of dies, injection molds, general tooling, and machine components, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Prepare management reports and analyze department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor, with experience in progressive die design and development.
  • Experience with simulation software, with a strong understanding of metal stamping processes and die design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a unionized plant environment, with a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Motoman Robots, with experience in programming and operating robotic systems.
Pay Details

$75,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
