About the Role

JAC Products is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in a key role that will drive process improvements and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Act as a liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and Product Design Teams to facilitate Design for Manufacturability, and lead routine process analyses to assess overall process performance.
  • Performance Optimization: Independently monitor plant KPIs, identifying areas of opportunity, and champion the timely implementation and execution of performance improvements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to teams, and maintain exacting standards in all aspects of manufacturing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledgeable of aluminum extrusion, buffing, and fabrication tooling and equipment processes, as well as CAD systems and software for product and tool designs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong technical writing skills for the preparation of quote packages and specifications, and effective verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to provide performance standards, feedback, and coaching to teammates and third-party suppliers.
  • Education and Experience: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience, and 5-10 years' experience in engineering an automotive environment.
