Job Summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is a leading provider of utility infrastructure solutions. We're a trusted partner to engineers, contractors, and distributors, with a network of over 80 manufacturing facilities and 4,000 employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established procedures for removing molds from machines, including removal of water and hydraulic lines, nozzles, and heater blocks.
  • Install molds into machines, connecting water and hydraulic lines, installing nozzles and heater blocks, and clamping/fastening molds.
  • Clean and repair molding nozzles, wire heater bands together, and install/remove inserts for molds as scheduled.
  • Rig molds for removal from and installation into machines, and transport molds within the facility using a crane and forklift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of mold components and tools.
Requirements
  • Forklift certification
  • Crane certification
  • Authorized lockout/tag out certification
  • Hand and power tool training for use of a torch and various hand tools
  • Previous experience changing molds in plastics machines is helpful
  • Torch experience is preferred
  • Bench grinder experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
