Job Title: Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems with machinery and equipment
  • Install and maintain physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems
  • Work in different environments, including production areas and maintenance shops
  • Use tools and equipment appropriate for each job
  • Work productively with other employees to maintain production
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a mechanic
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs
  • Knowledge of standard materials, tools, and equipment, and skill in the use and care of tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Manual dexterity to operate machinery and computers
Compensation and Benefits:
