Job Summary

JAC Products is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Coordinator to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing EH&S written programs and trainings to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EH&S Programs: Create and implement EH&S written programs and trainings to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Identify and Analyze Occupational Hazards: Identify and analyze occupational hazards, and implement action plans to prevent and reduce the frequency of injuries and exposures.
  • Manage ISO 14001 System: Manage the ISO 14001 system, including all internal and external audits, and environmental-based annual projects.
  • Complete Required Reporting: Complete required HSE reporting, both internal and external, including documentation and distribution of data to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from an accredited college preferred.
  • Recent Internship Experience: Recent internship experience in Environmental, Health, or Safety.
  • Experience in Manufacturing: At least 2 or more years of safety, environmental, or health experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, MS Office skills, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • OSHA and ISO 14001 Experience: Demonstrated experience in OSHA, Workers' Compensation, ISO 14001.
  • Accident/Incident Response: Experience and knowledge of Accident/Incident response and investigations.
  • Internal and External Audits: Experience with internal and external ISO audits and audit responses.
