Commercial Sales Consultant Job Description

Job Summary:

The Commercial Sales Consultant is a key member of our sales team, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial sales principles, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Sales Leads: Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, customer referrals, and personal networking, to generate new sales leads and expand our customer base.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their HVAC and indoor-air quality requirements.
  • Deliver Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to commercial customers, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets, including revenue growth, close rate, lead generation, and service agreement sales.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including technical and administrative staff, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven sales experience with a focus on business-to-business selling, cold-calling, and lead generation.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of commercial service sales concepts, practices, and procedures, and basic knowledge of HVAC and indoor-air quality equipment.
