About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Store Manager to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and achieving sales and profit goals in our district retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement district-level strategies to achieve financial, operational, and customer-service goals
  • Lead sales strategy and growth for the district, including major account, wholesale, and retail customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Manage district inventory, delivery fleet, and other physical assets to maximize return
  • Oversee asset protection and safety programs, and monitor accuracy of fixed asset listings
  • Provide financial projections and ad-hoc reports to the DC management team
  • Manage headcount and payroll budgets, and oversee store service contracts
  • Provide operational guidance and support to store managers and schedule employee training
Requirements
  • Four-year business-related degree or equivalent business experience
  • 2-5 years of store operations experience, with a focus on retail operations
  • P&L analysis experience and sales-driven approach
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and leverage technology to communicate and be effective
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
