Position Overview:The Bread Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire bread-making division at WINNER. This position entails managing daily operations, ensuring product quality and consistency, and expanding our wholesale offerings. The Bread Production Manager will lead a team of skilled bakers, collaborate with various departments, and drive the success of our bread products across all venues.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Oversight:
- Manage the daily functions of the bread-making division.
- Ensure adherence to all baking processes and protocols.
- Uphold exceptional standards of quality and consistency for all bread items.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of bakers.
- Organize and delegate tasks to baking staff, ensuring efficient operations.
- Encourage a positive and productive workplace, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
- Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules to fulfill the needs of WINNER locations and wholesale clients.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and finished goods, ensuring timely procurement and restocking.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to maintain product excellence.
- Enhance and grow the wholesale bread program, identifying and pursuing new business avenues.
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Coordinate production and delivery timelines for wholesale orders.
- Work closely with other department heads to ensure seamless operations across all WINNER locations.
- Regularly communicate with upper management regarding production updates, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights to enhance processes, products, and overall business performance.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Stay informed on industry trends and integrate new techniques and recipes as appropriate.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated experience in bread production.
- At least 3 years of experience managing baking operations.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food production.
- Experience in wholesale operations and client relationship management is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Strong communication skills in English and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to promoting the WINNER brand and values.
- Ability to converse in or understand Spanish is a plus.
- Primarily situated in a bakery environment with exposure to high temperatures and baking equipment.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and handling bakery products and equipment.
