Job Summary

The Bread Department Manager will oversee the bread-baking department across WINNER. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality and consistency, and expanding our wholesale program. The Bread Department Manager will lead a team of bakers, collaborate with other departments, and drive the success of our bread products across all locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the bread-baking department.
  • Ensure all baking processes and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and consistency for all bread products.
Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of bakers.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to baking staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operation.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Production Management
  • Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to meet the demands of WINNER locations and wholesale clients.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain product standards.
Wholesale Program Expansion
  • Develop and expand the wholesale bread program, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate production and delivery schedules for wholesale orders.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with other department managers to ensure cohesive operation across all WINNER locations.
  • Communicate regularly with upper management regarding production status, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve processes, products, and overall business performance.
Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation standards.
