Position Overview

As the Operations Shift Supervisor at ENGIE, you will oversee and guide the Operations Department and plant staff to ensure the facility operates in a safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant manner. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your leadership will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise shift operators in the management of high-pressure boilers, turbine generators, chillers, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the plant and its systems, maintaining accurate logs and operational records.
  • Train personnel on safety practices, operational procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in emergency response initiatives and maintain readiness for unexpected situations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid CFC-2 and CFC-3 licenses, or a CFC-universal license.
  • Possession of a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Second Class Engineer's License.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, with a willingness to adapt to varying weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Experience in directing operations and managing personnel in a plant environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $43.94 to $64.25 USD, reflecting the expected pay for qualified candidates. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
