Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for driven individuals to gain valuable industry experience in a sales and customer service capacity while preparing to become a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent.

Comprehensive paid training, both in the classroom and hands-on, is offered to support trainees in pursuing State Property/Casualty and Life and Health Licenses.

The individual will engage with customers, conduct marketing initiatives, and assist with various office functions under the direct supervision of an Agent or Lead Sales Agent.

Upon obtaining the necessary licenses, this role will focus on the profitable expansion and achievement of business objectives by marketing and servicing Direct Auto products, which include but are not limited to Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance for both new and existing clients.

Responsibilities include assisting walk-in clients, supporting office operations, and promoting our offerings through marketing calls and outreach.

Additionally, the individual will monitor local market competitors and provide insights on strategies to enhance Direct Auto's market position, as well as manage sales administration and reporting tasks.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and foster customer relationships
  • Experience or strong willingness to cultivate relationships and promote our products within community organizations and local businesses
  • Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office applications
  • Highly motivated to market and sell in a multi-product environment where cross-selling and customer retention are vital to achieving sales targets
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Property/Casualty license preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to obtain Property/Casualty license as part of our training program within 90 days of hire
  • Strong initiative, drive, and eagerness to learn new skills and information
  • Self-motivated with a passion for success
