Job Overview
GPLA, a member of the DPR family of companies, is in search of a Senior Structural Project Leader. This position is crucial for steering and managing intricate construction initiatives, primarily concentrating on structural components.

This role encompasses overseeing every facet of the project, from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring that structural elements are designed, executed, and completed in line with specifications, safety regulations, and within budgetary and timeline constraints.

The Senior Structural Project Leader offers expert advice and strategic oversight, collaborating closely with stakeholders to guarantee successful project results.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Strategy:
Develop a detailed project strategy, outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Conduct feasibility assessments, work alongside architects and engineers to evaluate structural needs, and estimate required resources. Create strategic methodologies to enhance project execution.

Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
Formulate project budgets, assess costs, and monitor expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with stakeholders to appropriately allocate financial resources and implement cost-efficient solutions. Oversee project finances and make informed decisions to meet financial goals.

Team Leadership and Coordination:
Assemble and guide a multidisciplinary team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, track progress, and encourage effective collaboration and communication. Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering their professional growth.

Risk Evaluation and Mitigation:
Identify potential risks and devise comprehensive strategies to address them. Conduct thorough risk evaluations, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Proactively tackle potential challenges to minimize project interruptions.

Procurement and Resource Coordination:
Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the project. Assess supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure efficient resource utilization. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Quality Assurance and Control:
Establish rigorous quality control protocols to ensure compliance with specified standards and specifications. Conduct inspections, monitor project progress, and promptly address any deviations or deficiencies. Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

Serve as the primary liaison for all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, government entities, and regulatory bodies.

Project Documentation and Reporting:

Compensation:
Anticipated starting pay range: $140,000 - $180,000.00
