What are we seeking in our Project Manager?

Russell Tobin & Associates is looking for a Project Manager to join a leading cloud-based, AI-driven software organization in a remote capacity.

Employment Type: Contract/Remote

Compensation: $55-$59/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and prioritize the DPT product portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization.
    Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and support to facilitate successful product development and execution.
    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders and senior management.
    Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk management registers.
    Track and report on project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
    Ensure adherence to the organization's quality standards, best practices, and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
    Manage project changes, dependencies, and conflicts as they arise.
    Encourage communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
    Conduct project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and post-mortem analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly within software product development.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
    Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse software product portfolio and influencing product strategy.
    Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
    Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
    Capacity to work under pressure and handle multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Client Strategic Portfolio Management is a plus.
