The Clinical Research Coordinator will be part of the General Medicine Research Team, which facilitates research studies across a variety of specialties, including but not limited to Allergy, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Organ Transplant, and Pulmonology. This role offers opportunities for ongoing learning as our team broadens the specialties we support. While our primary research location is Scripps Green Hospital, our team also assists with studies at various other Scripps Hospitals and Clinics.

This position is well-suited for individuals who are quick learners, have a keen interest in research, and possess experience in patient care. The Clinical Research Coordinator will:

· Assist trial coordinators across various specialties, including orthopedic, hepatology, transplant medicine, and more.

· Concentrate on data entry, patient follow-up visits, and communication.

· Coordinate multiple facets of clinical trials and other human research, ensuring adherence to research protocols and IRB standards.

· Manage regulatory documentation and data submissions, assist with IRB submissions, and maintain internal data tracking systems.

· Deliver exceptional service to principal investigators and research sponsors within the scope of responsibilities.

Compensation Range: $25.87-$35.65/hour

In accordance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health discloses the pay range for all positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the stated range. Please note that this range applies to employees residing in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees living outside the state. Required Qualifications

Essential Education/Experience/Skills:

1 year of experience in a healthcare environment, or an Allied Health professional degree. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Motivated communicator within a compact clinical team working under tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Required Certification/Registration:

American Heart Association BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree. Familiarity with medical terminology. Experience in research.
