Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician II: Flightline Specialist to join our team at Logmet LLC. As a key member of our Flight Line/Phase Maintenance Division, you will provide Contract Maintenance Support (CMS) to support our flight hour/training goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise: Possess a minimum of five (5) years Aviation experience, and no less than two (2) years V-22 experience. Utilize technical publications, including Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), to perform assigned maintenance actions.
  2. Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and applicable technical data.
  3. Tool Utilization: Identify and properly utilize common tools, calibrated equipment, and special support equipment/tools in the performance of maintenance procedures.
  4. Support Equipment Operation: Operate support equipment for flight line maintenance of established procedures.
  5. Personal Safety and Line Precautions: Observe personal safety and line precautions around aircraft and workspaces.
  6. Security Clearance: Work will be on a government installation; therefore, you must be cleared for access.
Essential Functions
  1. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft power plants, drive, and rotor systems discrepancies. Perform maintenance in the removal, repair, replacement, and installation of aircraft components such as engines, PRGB/TAGB, Rotor Hubs, Fuel systems, and component rigging.
  2. Maintenance Inspections: Perform Scheduled, Unscheduled, Special, and Phase Maintenance inspections as directed through MRC decks.
  3. Plane Captain Duties: Perform Daily, Pre-fight, and Turn-around Inspections, and other type of Plane Captain duties.
  4. Refueling Operations: Perform hot and cold refueling of aircraft.
  5. Technical Directive Compliance: Research, interpret, and comply with Technical Directive (TD) requirements for the aircraft/aircraft components.
  6. Collateral Duty Inspector/Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative: Select candidates must be able to obtain a level of experience to become a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI)/Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR).
