Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to support our aircraft maintenance activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of our Maintenance Activities databases, ensuring seamless data management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management: Perform daily database maintenance, including data backups, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Data Analysis: Extract, analyze, and validate maintenance data to support business decisions.
  • System Security: Maintain system security and advise on matters related to OOMA inputs.
  • Reporting: Develop and interpret management reports to support business intelligence.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory records, including aircraft and engine reports, in accordance with applicable instructions.
  • Configuration Management: Process readiness documents and administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a Business or Management discipline, or Associate's degree plus 4 years of additional work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent aircraft maintenance support experience as a DBA/A in the United States Navy/USMC/United States Coast Guard O-Level/I-Level CNAFINST series.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft Experience: Experience supporting IPTs and ITTs is preferred. Rotary Wing Aircraft experience within the last 5 years is required.
  • Security Clearance: Top-Secret clearance and favorable Tier 5 background investigation.
