Position Summary:
The role of a metal structure fabricator encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Designing, laying out, and constructing metal frameworks for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Cutting, repairing, and assembling girders, beams, columns, and other structural components to create complete edifices.
- Conducting tests on welding and safety apparatus.
- Identifying potential weaknesses to prevent structural integrity problems.
- Mentoring fellow welders and apprentices.
- Upholding safety regulations.
- Installing supports and braces.
- Positioning and aligning components accurately.
Note: Candidates must possess prior on-the-job experience. Compensation is set at $25.00 per hour.
