Job Overview

EWF is seeking an experienced Iron Worker to join our team. As an essential member of our construction crew, you will play a vital role in the installation of structural iron and steel components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Analysis: Carefully examine construction blueprints and specifications to determine the placement, positioning, and structural requirements of iron and steel components.
  • Fabrication and Preparation: Cut, shape, and weld metal pieces according to blueprint specifications, ensuring accurate and properly sized components.
  • Erection and Installation: Assemble pre-fabricated components on-site, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and connection. Utilize cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to position and secure steel columns, beams, girders, and other structural elements.
Requirements

This is not a training position. You must already possess experience in iron working and have a harness and fall protection, as well as a spudwrench. A competitive hourly rate of $25.00 is offered.
