Job Summary

As a skilled welder, your primary responsibilities will consist of welding together metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or instructions from management or a supervisor. You will utilize knowledge of working characteristics of metal and non-metal materials, including the knowledge of the equipment to be used in the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of tools and welding equipment, including welders, cutters, torches, drills, grinders, and sanders.
  • Set up parts and assemblies for welding, configuring machines for different steel gauges of any type.
  • Conduct measurements and quality checks, maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform general labor operations, such as loading/unloading parts, grinding, scraping, and nibbling fabrications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding.
  • Ability to interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Understanding of welding equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
