Job Overview

Position Title: Team Leader (Team C)

Department: Production

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively address any potential issues related to product or service quality, documenting problems and proposing effective solutions.
  • Uphold the company's vision, mission, and core values.
  • Carry out all necessary tasks to fulfill team objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of team performance in accordance with industry standards (ISO, SQCDMM).
  • Collaborate with other teams as required to optimize capacity and workflow.
  • Supervise and guide hourly team members.
  • Implement and train team members in effective communication techniques.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members appropriately.
  • Utilize safe material storage methods for efficient retrieval.
  • Encourage transparent communication among team members, colleagues, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Availability to work during scheduled shifts and additional hours as needed.
  • Proficient in tools and equipment necessary for PCB and final assembly.
  • Experience with conformal coating and AOI.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with material handling terminology (e.g., replenishment, pull, push, backflush, visual systems).
  • Experience with cycle counting and barcode/POURS systems.
  • Knowledge of workplace organization principles (5S).
  • Understanding of bills of material and routing structures.
  • Goal setting and achievement in TBO.
  • Competence in using computer systems for various tasks.
  • Organizational skills for filing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General computer proficiency.
  • Training in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
  • Experience in PCB assembly (both SMT and through-hole).
  • Mechanical assembly skills for final products.
  • Ability to interpret assembly drawings.
  • Hand and wave soldering experience.
  • Skills in production scheduling and maintenance.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily in an engineering office setting.
  • Occasional presence on the production floor for support, prototype builds, and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to chemicals (refer to SDS).
  • Potential exposure to dust, paint, and noise.
  • Protective clothing and equipment may be necessary.
