Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with neurodivergent teens, adults, and families via virtual platforms to enhance executive functioning skills across various life domains.
  • Craft tailored strategies in collaboration with clients, families, and support professionals to promote autonomy and independence.
  • Exhibit flexibility in adapting coaching techniques to meet individual client needs, ensuring productive and consistent sessions.
  • Provide approximately 25 hours of coaching weekly, with the potential for full-time engagement.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, embracing training opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and a resident of Washington state.
  • Must successfully pass all employment screenings.
  • Availability to work after school hours; weekend availability is advantageous.
  • Access to a laptop or computer, webcam, and microphone is essential.
  • Minimum of 25 hours per week of consistent availability for direct client support (more hours preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for empowering neurodivergent individuals to achieve autonomy and independence.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities, empathy, and adaptability in challenging situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster client engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in managing technology platforms.
  • Basic computer skills, including calendar management and timekeeping.
  • Familiarity with neurodivergence or prior experience in related fields (social work, education, therapy).
  • Experience advocating for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ability.

Training and Support:

  • Comprehensive initial training covering process overview, session structure, and technology platform usage.
  • One-on-one mentorship with the Head of Operations for personalized guidance.
  • Access to recorded sessions for review and non-live shadowing opportunities.
  • Ongoing support and training throughout employment to ensure excellence in coaching practice.
  • DEI training and involvement in community partnerships aimed at fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
