Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordination Specialist serves as a vital link, dedicated to delivering exceptional service, conducting thorough research and analysis, managing project timelines, and implementing effective communication strategies. This role collaborates closely with HCL's Suppliers and Manufacturing teams to facilitate the sourcing and/or development of tailored solutions that align with client requirements while achieving organizational objectives.

  • Identifies the most efficient pathway for project execution, considering cost-effectiveness and appropriate handling of devices.
  • Utilizes independent judgment to steer project advancement based on input from customers, HCL teams, and suppliers/manufacturers.
  • Evaluates which products to quote and establishes pricing through comprehensive market analysis.
  • Conducts extensive market and competitor evaluations.
  • Oversees intricate and high-volume sourcing and/or manufacturing initiatives.
  • Recognizes all key stakeholders to enhance communication between teams.
  • Defines product objectives, intended applications, functionalities, potential challenges, and applicable solutions.
  • Identifies regulatory and customer Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirements.
  • Develops, outlines, and revises project plans while monitoring their progress.
  • Creates project documentation for management and design teams and prepares customer quotes.
  • Facilitates team meetings to present project outlines, updates, and visual aids as necessary.
  • Communicates valuable insights to management to support team and organizational growth.
  • Ensures timely completion of tasks to a high standard of quality.
  • Analyzes bid requests to determine optimal solutions for both the customer and the company.
  • Employs all available documented procedures and information to make informed decisions regarding problem resolution.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications preferred, or relevant professional experience (minimum of 3 years).
  • Experience in public speaking and/or project leadership.
  • Background in customer service, sales, and/or sales support roles.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate with and coordinate multiple teams and departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
