Role Summary:

The Estimating Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role, combining estimating and sales functions. This hybrid position is designed to allocate approximately 60% of the time to estimating and project development, while 10% will focus on sales activities. The coordinator will manage the entire estimation workflow, assess project specifications, evaluate cost components, and generate detailed estimates. Additionally, the role includes overseeing sales communications, nurturing leads, executing marketing strategies, and maintaining our internal sales management system.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating (60%):

  • Lead the estimation process from initiation to completion.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to collect necessary data for accurate estimates.
  • Examine project specifications and architectural drawings.
  • Assess cost elements, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Prepare comprehensive and precise cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with structural engineers to develop thorough repair proposals aimed at enhancing structural integrity and addressing defects.

Sales (10%):

  • Handle sales communications and follow up on potential leads.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to build relationships with prospective clients and contractors.
  • Manage and update the internal sales platform (Hubspot).
  • Facilitate client meetings and site visits as necessary, which may involve occasional travel.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule & Travel:

This is a full-time position with a standard day shift from Monday to Friday. The department offers flexibility in scheduling. Occasionally, the role may require overnight travel for client engagements or site evaluations.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for the Estimating Sales Coordinator position will possess:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction sector, particularly in concrete restoration or roofing, with a focus on estimating, sales, or installation.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance, with readiness for project oversight and client interactions.
  • 1-2 years of experience with essential computer skills, particularly in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting established deadlines.
  • Experience in customer service roles for at least 1-2 years, emphasizing effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
