  • Develop and execute habilitative program services, including treatment planning and individual/group interventions;
  • Act as a point of contact for families, community organizations, and internal personnel, such as juvenile parole officers and educational institutions;
  • Create and oversee unit programming, collaborating with reentry staff to facilitate youth transitions;
  • Provide orientation for new residents and their families regarding treatment protocols and available services;
  • Manage visitation lists and gather necessary personal information from families;
  • Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDT) to coordinate meetings and ensure comprehensive care;
  • Maintain compliance with documentation standards set by federal, state, and local authorities;
  • Ensure adherence to unit schedules and activities;
  • Supervise student interns and volunteers in the absence of the unit manager.

• Strong leadership abilities, commitment to high standards, professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a focus on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 months of experience in social or behavioral sciences, criminal justice, or human services; 6 months of experience in areas such as report writing, record keeping, interviewing, or counseling.

- Alternatively, completion of an associate degree in social or behavioral sciences, criminal justice, or human services, along with 6 months of relevant experience.

- Or completion of a bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields.

- Or an equivalent combination of qualifications as noted above.
