Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced individual to provide acquisition support for a DoD client. As a Contract Support Assistant, you will work independently or under general direction to assist in the formation of Excel spreadsheets, graphs, statistical analysis, and other data that may not be readily available.

You will also assist in the formation of executive presentations, advise leadership and contracting personnel on matters pertaining to contracting policies and procedures, and develop guidance material and/or conduct training for division personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of acquisition experience, demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general direction, good written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SharePoint experience is a plus).

Responsibilities
  • Provide general direction and establish overall objectives for assigned projects as directed.
  • Assist in the formation of Excel spreadsheets, which may include but not limited to: graphs, statistical analysis, and other data that may not be readily available.
  • Assist in the formation of executive presentations and advise leadership and contracting personnel on matters pertaining to contracting policies and procedures.
  • Develop guidance material and/or conduct training for division personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining various databases that are used to capture contractual data.
  • Creating and maintaining monthly reports for leadership personnel, including ad hoc reports as directed.
  • Prepare special and one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, or other offices.
  • Arrange meetings and takes meeting minutes. Assist in organizing and maintaining a centralized digital filing system.
  • Create, enter, save, retrieve, edit, file, and present text, spreadsheets, and/or charts.
  • Assist in reviewing written correspondence for grammar and punctuation and provide recommendations as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of acquisition experience.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SharePoint experience is a plus).
  • Active Secret Clearance is required. Ability to acquire and maintain Building Pass and Common Access Card. Must pass NCIC background check to obtain a Computer Access Card (CAC) and Building Pass.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per yearBenefits:
