Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Federal Contract Compliance Specialist to lead our periodic review and maintenance of cost allocations, including indirect costs and joint direct costs. The successful candidate will possess expertise in cost accounting structures and practices, as well as experience with MS Excel modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the indirect rate restructure project, analyzing potential future-state scenarios, determining cost accounting practice changes, and quantifying cost impact to applicable contracts.
  • Manage the compilation and submission of annual incurred cost proposals and provisional billing rate packages to AAMVA's cognizant agency.
  • Oversee monthly indirect rate monitoring and intra-year forecasting efforts, including rate monitoring, model development/revision, analysis, and variance identification and investigation.
  • Research regulatory interpretations on issues arising from application of CFR/FAR, federal agency-specific compliance, and other relevant federal/state & local cost accounting guidance.
  • Support the monthly billing process for grants/contracts as well as periodic final indirect cost rate billing true-ups.
Requirements
  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA a plus.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Federal contracting, including working knowledge of cost accounting structures and practices, 2 CFR 200, FAR, and indirect cost rate management.
  • Intermediate and/or joint direct cost allocations, experience with modeling alternative indirect cost rate restructures, and proficiency in MS Excel modeling.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $ $93,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
