The Director of Sales and Revenue Growth is a strategic and dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the sales initiatives of the Hilton Garden Inn Allentown Bethlehem Airport. Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue across all market segments.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales goals with the hotel's overall business objectives.
    • Identify new revenue-generating opportunities and market trends to enhance the hotel's competitive position.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
    • Set clear performance expectations and goals for the sales team, providing regular feedback and coaching.
    • Promote teamwork and cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, and other departments.
  • Business Development:
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and local businesses.
    • Identify potential clients and proactively seek out new business opportunities to expand the hotel's customer base.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with clients to ensure profitable business relationships.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasting revenue and setting achievable sales targets.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability.
  • Marketing and Promotions:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with the sales strategy.
    • Participate in the creation of promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and online presence to attract potential clients.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct regular competitive market analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, economic factors, and changes in customer preferences to adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and relevant industry insights.
    • Prepare comprehensive sales reports, presentations, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, market segmentation, and revenue management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
