The Director of Sales is a key leadership role at Hilton Garden Inn Allentown Bethlehem Airport, responsible for driving revenue growth and market presence. This strategic position requires a dynamic and results-driven professional who can lead the sales team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue across all market segments, collaborating with the executive team to align sales goals with the hotel's overall business objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, setting clear performance expectations and goals, and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Business Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and local businesses, identifying potential clients and proactively seeking out new business opportunities to expand the hotel's customer base.
  • Revenue Generation: Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasting revenue and setting achievable sales targets, monitoring and analyzing sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, market segmentation, and revenue management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
