Horizon Sports and Experiences (HS&E) represents the unification of Horizon Media's Scout Sports and Entertainment division, designed to offer a unique and comprehensive strategy for clients involved in sports and experiential marketing. Our fully-integrated service model emphasizes intellectual property creation and monetization, strategic consulting, media rights, sponsorship, sales, and experiential strategy and activation. This approach empowers marketers to effectively utilize their brand assets, content, and engagement strategies to foster growth. Additionally, with the anticipated transformative effects of Web3 and the metaverse, our newly established metaverse consultancy, Chapter & Verse, is part of HS&E's expanded service offerings.
Role Summary
HS&E is in search of a Supervisor to enhance our brand consulting practice, playing a vital role in supporting a new initiative within the telecommunications sector. This position will report directly to the Director of the sports division and will be instrumental in client projects, sponsorship activation, strategy, and new business development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Operations (40%)
- Assist the Associate Director/Director and account team in managing and executing client marketing campaigns and portfolios.
- Oversee the formulation of negotiation strategies based on proposal evaluations, property insights, and client directives.
- Direct the logistics and execution of partnerships, events, and promotions with relevant rights holders and vendors.
- Ensure effective partnership operations, fostering efficient communication and a productive organizational structure.
- Delegate daily responsibilities appropriately among team members.
- Employ innovative thinking to develop partnership concepts and strategies for clients.
- Oversee the financial execution of all agreements and contracts, ensuring accurate billing and payments through the finance team.
- Facilitate communication with internal teams, vendors, rights holders, and upper management.
- Build and sustain long-term business relationships both internally and externally.
2. Client Management & Strategic Leadership (30%)
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and partner agencies at all levels.
- Manage daily communication and coordination between clients, rights holders, and vendors.
- Contribute to the formulation of client strategies and objectives.
- Identify new partnership solutions to meet client goals and assess the health of client business through relevant metrics analysis.
- Ensure client portfolios are managed to the highest standards.
3. Staff Development (20%)
- Foster a positive and dynamic culture within the agency, including team-building initiatives and social activities.
- Oversee the professional development of direct reports.
- Set career development objectives, monitor performance, and hold team members accountable.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance skill sets and eliminate barriers to effectiveness.
- Provide timely constructive feedback.
4. Business Strategy and Development (10%)
- Support HS&E's new business initiatives with strategic insights and concept development.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders on brand strategy and activation teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing and sponsorship experience in an agency, team, league, rights holder, or brand.
- Experience with NASCAR and/or IndyCar partnerships is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Deep understanding of the sports landscape.
- Experience managing a team of at least two account members.
- Proven ability to develop persuasive presentations for C-Suite clients.
- Experience in sponsorship strategy development and activation concepts.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive client-facing research.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $105,000.00
