Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various patient care tasks as competency documentation designates
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of hands-on patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required
  • Current CPR certification
