We are currently seeking a Security Systems Administrator for a contract role.

Position Overview

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Systems Administrator to engage directly at our client's location, overseeing the management and maintenance of various security systems and applications. This is a full-time contract position in the New York City / New Jersey region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the client's Security Systems Manager in the administration and support of the following client-owned systems:
    • Avigilon CCTV system
    • Genetec CCTV system
    • Alutel Handheld card reader system
    • HID SAFE badging application
    • BriefCam
    • RapiScan X-Ray
    • RapiScan Secondary screening
    • Barco Wall System for HUB, VSC, SACC
    • ELSAG LRP system
    • UVEye under vehicle surveillance system
    • Chemring under vehicle surveillance system
  • Collaborate with the client's team to revise and prepare a responsibility matrix for security applications across client facilities in the NYC/NJ area.
  • Work alongside the client to update the security systems plan for applications owned by the client.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance schedules with contractors for client-owned applications.
  • Partner with the client and maintenance contractors to resolve vulnerabilities identified in client-owned applications.
  • Manage the patching and rebooting schedule for the listed client-owned systems.
  • Engage with vendors to troubleshoot issues related to the systems mentioned above.
Qualifications & Experience
  • VMWare: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Windows Server: 1 year (Required)
  • LINUX: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Cisco Certification (Preferred)
  • Cybersecurity Experience: 2 Years (Preferred)
Security Clearance
  • Confidential (preferred)
Work Schedule
  • 8-Hour Shift
  • Day Shift
  • Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • On-call as needed
Location Requirements
  • Reliable commuting or relocation plans are necessary for this in-person position.
