Key Responsibilities- Monitoring: Ongoing surveillance of security events and alerts utilizing SIEM, EDR, and various security solutions.
- Incident Management: Swift identification, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches. Formulate and implement incident response strategies.
- Threat Detection: Engage in proactive threat detection efforts to uncover concealed threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analysis and Reporting: Evaluate security incidents and generate comprehensive reports on findings, along with suggestions for enhancements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards and assist in audit preparations.
- Training and Awareness: Facilitate security awareness programs and educate clients on best practices and emerging threats.
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Advanced Degrees: A Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years in cybersecurity, concentrating on security operations, incident management, and threat detection.
- Hands-On Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing security incidents, conducting threat detection, and utilizing security tools and technologies.
- Security Tools: Expertise in using SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar), EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black), and network monitoring solutions.
- Incident Management: Strong capabilities in incident detection, triage, analysis, and remediation. Experience in developing and executing incident response strategies.
- Threat Detection: Ability to proactively search for threats and vulnerabilities within an organization using advanced analytics and threat intelligence.
- Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating security processes and enhancing response times.
- Threat Intelligence: Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and practical application of threat intelligence.
