Position Summary
The Transport Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional transportation services to guests, ensuring a seamless experience during their stay. Key responsibilities include driving guests to specified destinations, assisting with luggage handling, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, and performing concierge tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong navigation and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple pick-up and drop-off schedules while adapting to changing circumstances.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver's license for the applicable state is mandatory.
- At least one year of driving experience is required.
- An acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) is essential.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly is necessary.
- Quick and accurate decision-making skills are required.
- Must maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Adhere to attendance standards as required by scheduling needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
- Comply with company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with luggage as needed.
- Load and unload luggage from carts and vehicles.
- Accompany guests to their rooms upon request.
- Manage luggage storage for arrivals and departures using appropriate tagging systems.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
- Drive the vehicle according to the established schedule.
- Respond to guest inquiries and assist guest services agents as needed.
- Provide information about local attractions, events, and transportation options.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and entrance areas.
- Deliver messages and packages to guest rooms.
- Assist with room changes and other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
Physical Requirements
Employees must be able to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and reaching. The role may require handling objects weighing over 50 lbs.
