Position Overview:

The KCNA Procurement Specialist is a pivotal role within our organization, dedicated to enhancing our operational efficiency and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional care globally.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Category Strategy Execution: Implement the category strategy and execution plan as directed by the Regional Category Lead.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage local supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with business needs and market dynamics.
  • Support Sourcing Events: Collaborate with Agile Squads to facilitate regional sourcing events and strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with regional business stakeholders to gather requirements and align on category strategies.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance metrics and initiate reviews to drive improvements and mitigate risks.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to Kimberly-Clark policies and internal controls while fostering trust and credibility with suppliers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with a preference for category management expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with effective communication abilities.
  • Project management experience and the capacity to work independently in a complex organizational structure.
  • The willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings.
  • Experience in a machine shop or sourcing components for manufacturing.
