Sign-on Incentives Available:

  • $8,000 for non-licensed candidates (tCADC/CADC)
  • $10,000 for licensed professionals (1st or 2nd level)

Role Purpose: Engage as a vital member of the team in delivering addiction treatment services to individuals and their families, while integrating recovery principles into their everyday lives. Ensure that program services are provided ethically, legally, and morally within a secure and therapeutic setting, adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications/Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or a related field required.
  • Minimum tCADC/CADC, LBSW, LMSW, tLMHC/LMHC, or other state or national licensure that supersedes the tCADC.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems is highly preferred.
  • Ability to complete necessary documentation accurately within designated time frames.
  • Expertise in conducting individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
  • Capability to present and coordinate educational sessions for clients, families, staff, or community stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Jackson Recovery Centers, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to work hours established by leadership and any additional hours necessary for assigned responsibilities.

2. Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or their support systems.

3. Develop client psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within required time frames.

4. Identify clinical and case management needs of clients and work towards addressing those needs.

5. Educate clients and their support networks on all aspects of treatment, health issues, and recovery processes.

6. Assume primary case management duties for assigned clients.

7. Ensure that documentation in client service records meets expectations set by licensure, TJC, and Medicaid regulations.

8. Maintain effective communication with all staff (e.g., admissions, case management, and discharge planning).

9. Be available for on-call responsibilities as scheduled or designated.

10. Conduct workshops, lectures, and training sessions for clients, families, staff, and community groups.

11. Be knowledgeable about court processes and available to represent clients in court as needed.

12. Actively participate in team meetings and activities as a committed team member.

13. Uphold confidentiality in accordance with the Code of Conduct and legal frameworks.

14. Provide exceptional customer service consistently to all clients.

15. Serve as a role model for staff, clients, and stakeholders, demonstrating positive interactions.

16. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Based on education, experience, and credentials

  • Starting rate for Bachelor's degree - $21.11/hour
  • Starting rate for Master's degree - $24.44/hour
  • Additional $.50/hour with CADC certification
  • Additional $1.50/hour inpatient differential

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday
  • 10 AM - 8:30 PM

Physical Requirements:

1. Vision: Must be able to read printed and/or handwritten materials from various sources.

2. Hearing: Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and answer incoming calls.

3. Mobility: Must have the ability to move between departments within the facility.

4. Lifting: Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 5 pounds frequently.

5. Dexterity: Must be able to use a keyboard for computer work and phone equipment.

6. Sitting: Must be able to sit for extended periods while using a computer.

Work Environment:

1. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring the use of universal precautions and/or personal protective equipment.

2. Regular use of computers.
