We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Adolescent Residential Treatment Unit Specialist to join our team at Jackson Recovery Centers, Inc. This is a part-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to clients in a residential treatment setting, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise and manage client behavior, providing positive reinforcement and behavioral interventions as needed.
- Coordinate and supervise client recreational activities, promoting a healthy and engaging environment.
- Monitor client service records, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Develop and present patient lectures, facilitating education and skill-building opportunities.
- Observe and record group dynamics, providing valuable insights to the treatment team.
- Facilitate focal group discussion sessions, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Consult with the treatment team to plan daily therapeutic direction, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach.
- Read and review logs from previous shifts, obtaining pertinent information to inform care.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in addiction treatment or a related field.
- Valid driver's license, with a reliable vehicle for transportation.
