About the Role

This Administrative Coordinator - Reception position at Northern Montana Health Care is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and visitors, responding to their queries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel or services
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including cancellations and rescheduling
  • Coordinating patient registration, updating records, and maintaining confidentiality
  • Communicating with healthcare professionals and other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and issuing receipts
  • Implementing and following established procedures for missed appointments and no-shows
  • Performing various administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the front desk

Requirements

  1. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  4. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and scheduling software
  5. Accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial transactions and patient data

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $54,000 annually, based on experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we provide health, dental, life, and FLEX/HSA benefits, as well as a 403(b) option for retirement savings.
