Key Responsibilities

In the role of Customer Service Sales Representative, you will foster customer confidence, deliver precise information, and promote products through successful sales interactions.

Your responsibilities will include establishing a professional yet personalized rapport with each customer to facilitate sales and enhance the overall customer experience.


Additional duties encompass:

  • Promoting merchandise and delivering customer service in accordance with company standards (i.e., greeting and acknowledging customers, demonstrating solid product knowledge, and fulfilling all customer service components)
  • Upholding the appearance of the sales floor
  • Engaging in marketing initiatives such as opening new Boscov's charge accounts to meet company objectives
  • Accurately processing all transactions and paperwork while adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining awareness of advertised merchandise; assisting in receiving, folding, organizing, and restocking products

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for the Customer Service Sales Representative position should possess the ability and enthusiasm to actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Previous retail sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Willingness to learn sales techniques and operate a POS register
  • Availability to work flexible days and hours as required, including evenings and weekends
