Job Title: Environmental Manager II

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager II to join our team at Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Twin Falls, ID. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for providing program oversight and strategic direction for the environmental management system at our site. This includes driving technical solutions, providing leadership and direction for environmental aspects of plant operations, and overseeing junior-level environmental professionals and operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to plant operators and maintenance personnel on environmental control systems, including water supply, wastewater, air pollution, and solid waste management.
  • Oversee and supervise junior-level environmental professionals and operators to ensure effective implementation of environmental programs and policies.
  • Participate in the development of corporate environmental management system programs and roll out implementation plans to establish an effective environmental management program at the facility.
  • Represent Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. on environmental matters to outside stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry associations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry, or related field.
  • 6-12 years of progressive experience in the environmental/engineering field, with expertise in environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to present to large and small groups, including executive leadership.
  • Experience with developing engineering scope for new equipment to fulfill compliance needs.
  • Expert knowledge of operational practices for environmental control systems, including water supply, wastewater, air pollution, and solid waste management.
