Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Alaska Dialysis. As a key member of our dialysis team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support during dialysis treatments, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
  • Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment and supplies, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of dialysis experience required.
  • CCHT certification required.
  • High school graduate, GED, or equivalent required.
  • CPR certification desirable - must have ability to become certified.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and technical skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic.
