This is a full-time, onsite position with a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities- Healthcare Services: Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
- Individualized Healthcare Plans: Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents/guardians and other healthcare providers.
- Health Records: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
- Health Education: Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
- Accommodations: Provide accommodations for students with disabilities as needed per school's requirements.
- Transportation: Assist students with transportation to and from school as needed.
- Valid RN License: Valid RN license in VA.
- Experience: Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
