CANNABIS PROCESSING SPECIALIST

We are currently looking for a Processing Specialist to join our dedicated processing team, focusing on the post-harvest handling of raw cannabis materials, as well as the packaging, labeling, and fulfillment of cannabis-infused products.

We manage a diverse portfolio of retail locations nationwide under the BEYOND / HELLO™ brand, along with the recently acquired Nature's Remedy brand. Our stores offer an exceptional customer experience, complemented by online reservations and in-store express pickup options.

Every day, our team members engage in the cultivation, processing, and manufacturing of a wide range of cannabis brands, including The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira + Medicinals, and Sèche, catering to various consumer and patient needs across multiple states.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct mechanical and manual bucking of cannabis biomass.
  • Ensure accurate weighing and labeling of biomass for storage.
  • Carry out drying and curing tasks as instructed.
  • Perform mechanical and manual trimming of cannabis flowers.
  • Handle mechanical and manual packaging of cannabis products.
  • Package cannabis flower according to specified weight.
  • Assemble various packaging types for all cannabis products.
  • Print and affix labels to finished products.
  • Maintain and perform light to moderate upkeep on automated equipment, including cleaning and preventive maintenance.
  • Operate, maintain, and clean processing, packaging, and labeling machinery.
  • Document and record all information necessary for the traceability of medical cannabis.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety meetings.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure a steady supply of products to meet demand.
  • Conduct inventory counts of packaging and labeling materials.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance process quality and efficiency.
  • Follow a strict production schedule to ensure timely processing of products.
  • Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the facility.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Processing to support the seamless operation of the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in order entry, picking, labeling, packaging, or customer service roles.
  • Strong computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
  • Previous experience in the medical cannabis sector is preferred.
  • Ability to perform desk-based computer tasks consistently.
  • Physical capability to occasionally twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Effective oral communication skills with management and coworkers; regular use of phone and email may be necessary.
  • Normal hearing and vision are essential for communication and document preparation.
  • Ability to lift heavy items, with occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs.
  • Good manual dexterity for operating common office equipment.
  • Comfortable with operating and troubleshooting label printing equipment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
