PEOPLE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST:

This position will oversee and execute all HR-related functions in a professional manner, focusing on onboarding, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.

THE TEAM:

Established in 2018 and based in Boca Raton, Florida, Jushi is a comprehensive, multi-state cannabis enterprise that operates premium retail outlets, high-quality brands, and advanced cultivation and processing facilities. Our innovative online platform is redefining the cannabis shopping experience.

Since our inception, Jushi has expanded from a small team to over 1200 dedicated employees. Our operations span seven states, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Nevada, and Ohio, and we have been recognized as one of the top five cannabis companies to work for.

We operate numerous retail locations nationwide under the BEYOND / HELLOTM brand, as well as the recently acquired Nature's Remedy brand, providing an exceptional in-store experience complemented by online reservations and express pickup options.

Every day, Jushi team members work diligently to cultivate, process, and manufacture a diverse range of cannabis brands, including The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira + Medicinals, and Sèche, catering to a wide array of consumer and patient needs across multiple states.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including reference checks, interview scheduling, assessment distribution, new-hire paperwork, and digital employee file management.
  • Provide comprehensive support throughout the employee lifecycle, including offer letter preparation, onboarding activities, and requisition management.
  • Compile documentation and generate reports related to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution as necessary.
  • Offer guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
  • Conduct analyses of time card audits, turnover rates, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to analyze trends and metrics, developing solutions, programs, and policies accordingly.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements related to employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management support to line management, including coaching, counseling, and career development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required based on business needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources support.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
