Job Summary

As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient experiences, from initial contact to appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently answer patient inquiries, providing general information, scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments via phone or in-person.
  • Document all accounts, update patient demographics, and create medical records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build rapport with patients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality customer service.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and regulations, applying knowledge to improve patient care and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or a call center is required.
  • Healthcare background is a plus; interest or background in orthopedics is also beneficial.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and multitasking effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
