Position Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Project Coordinator to oversee operations within our supported employment program. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional service to our partners and employees.

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the supported employment initiatives, ensuring quality interactions with neuro-diverse employees and contract partners. This part-time position offers the potential for growth into a full-time role, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily activities of supported employees, including scheduling and timesheet management.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to assigned contracts while fostering positive relationships to enhance contract opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison among contract clients, local rehabilitation agencies, and AHRC NYC to address challenges and implement solutions.
  • Represent AHRC NYC in the local community, engaging with all stakeholders effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities.
  • Design and deliver training materials for clients and program participants.
  • Provide coaching and support to staff as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with site standards as established by each contract.
  • Offer on-site assistance to program employees and step in for support staff when required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of experience in customer service and project coordination.
  • Background in special education or experience working with neuro-divergent individuals is highly valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Must possess a proactive attitude and leadership capabilities.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Experience in HR or training is advantageous.
  • Attributes such as compassion, curiosity, creativity, and optimism are essential for success in this role.
