Job Title: Innovation Training Program Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Innovation Training Program Manager to join our team at the University of Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Innovation Training Program, including grant preparation and management, program coordination, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage grant preparation and submission processes, ensuring compliance with University of Washington policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate program activities, including training sessions, workshops, and events.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
  • Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including participants, mentors, and sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the CoMotion Business Development team to develop and implement strategies for innovation collaboration, commercialization awareness, and accelerating the path to market impact.
  • Develop and track metrics and outcomes to ensure success of the program.
  • Serve as liaison for compliance matters, including coordinating with the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Grant and Contract Accounting (GCA).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, humanities, science, or related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Highly organized and ability to simultaneously manage and operate multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter and ability to take initiative.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with University of Washington policies and procedures, particularly grants and contracts.
  • Experience with UW systems: SAGE and Workday.
  • Experience managing grants from federal agencies, foundations, and industry partners.
