About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Patient Marketing to lead our SOTYKTU brand in the US market. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive patient marketing strategy that drives growth and accelerates the brand's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a patient marketing plan that accelerates SOTYKTU growth in a hyper-competitive category
  • Lead the early strategic framework and go-to-market plan for SOTYKTU in Psoriatic Arthritis for patient marketing
  • Provide commercial input on cross-matrix activities, ensuring consistent, on-strategy execution of brand priorities within each function
  • Foster strong collaborative working relationships with SOTYKTU leadership team
  • Collaborate with matrix partners to identify customer insights, and address opportunities and barriers through clear action plans
  • Partner with BI&A and Omnichannel Strategy partners to optimize DTC Marketing Mix & Channel Selection
  • Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plans that capitalize on prioritized business opportunities
  • Develop and grow direct reports and model the BMS Talent Philosophy
  • Effectively partner with Patient AOR, providing clear expectations, guidance, and feedback to agency, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence
  • Oversee the execution of a brand plan that delivers high-quality, strategic resources on time and within budget
Qualifications and Experience
  • BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 8 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Previous patient marketing experience in a competitive environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of the dermatology and rheumatology marketplace is recommended but not required; relevant Immunology experience is a plus.
  • Proven record of leading and being the champion of commercial strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and connect interrelated activities across the matrix to deliver impactful results.
  • Previous people leadership experience, with a record of success in developing talent and building winning teams.
  • Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships.
  • Highly skilled in translating insights into sound marketing actions and business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated willingness to push and evolve the organization with creative thinking and capability building
  • Strong ability to effectively drive performance within a matrix organization with exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication skills and executive presence required.
