Job Summary:

Raytheon Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth, RI. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, circuits, and sub-systems for our aerospace and defense products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and sub-systems for aerospace and defense products
  • Develop and implement design verification test plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements and specifications
  • Lead small teams to success managing schedule, budget, and technical execution
  • Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on analog and digital design
  • Experience with development of circuit cards/modules, subsystems/assemblies, and/or test systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience leading and growing a multi-disciplined engineering team
  • Experience writing detailed requirements, design, and test documents
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
